Mike Silverstein returns for his eighth season as the head coach of the Red Devils. Last season, Coach Silverstein led the Devils to a program best 13-6 record, losing to eventual NYS finalist Orchard Park in the Section 6 Class A semifinals. Silverstein has turned the Clarence lacrosse program around, registering a 47-30 record over the past four years (67% win pct). Coach Silverstein is also currently the head varsity soccer coach and is presently a physical education teacher at Sheridan Hill Elementary in Clarence.

Charley Warkenthien returns for his fourth season as the varsity assistant coach. Coach Warkenthien is responsible for coordinating the Red Devil defensive corps. Clarence gave up a school record low 99 goals last season, averaging just over 5 goals per game. Coach Warkenthien feels this year's defense will be young and athletic. A focus on a strong "team defensive concept" will make the Devils successful in 2010. A native Long Islander, Coach Warkenthien has the distinction of playing on the "first ever" NYS HS championship team as a senior at Elmont in 1977.
