Silverstein returns for his tenth season as the head coach of the Red Devils.
Last season, Coach Silverstein led the Devils to a program best 16-3 record, breaking
Orchard Park's strangehold on Section 6's Class A dominance with a 7-5 victory
in the sectional finals. It was the first sectional title won by any Clarence
lacrosse team. Silverstein has registered a 42-13 record over the past three years
(76% win pct). Coach Silverstein is also currently the head varsity soccer coach
and is presently a physical education teacher at Sheridan Hill Elementary in Clarence. |

Warkenthien returns for his sixth season as the varsity assistant coach. Coach
Warkenthien is responsible for coordinating the Red Devil defensive corps. A top
clinician, Warkenthien's defenses are always well prepared, and annually finish
as one of the top in Section 6 . A focus on a strong "team defensive concept"
will make the Devils successful in 2012. A native Long Islander, Coach Warkenthien
has the distinction of playing on the "first ever" NYS HS championship
team as a senior at Elmont in 1977. |  |
