Silverstein returns for his eighth season as the head coach of the Red Devils.
Last season, Coach Silverstein led the Devils to a program best 13-6 record, losing
to eventual NYS finalist Orchard Park in the Section 6 Class A semifinals. Silverstein
has turned the Clarence lacrosse program around, registering a 47-30 record over
the past four years (67% win pct). Coach Silverstein is also currently the head
varsity soccer coach and is presently a physical education teacher at Sheridan
Hill Elementary in Clarence. |

Warkenthien returns for his fourth season as the varsity assistant coach. Coach
Warkenthien is responsible for coordinating the Red Devil defensive corps. Clarence
gave up a school record low 99 goals last season, averaging just over 5 goals
per game. Coach Warkenthien feels this year's defense will be young and athletic.
A focus on a strong "team defensive concept" will make the Devils successful
in 2010. A native Long Islander, Coach Warkenthien has the distinction of playing
on the "first ever" NYS HS championship team as a senior at Elmont in
1977. | | COACHES
